End-of-Line Packaging
Cortiva end-of-line packaging systems ensure safe and aesthetically pleasing packaging of products after the production line. Their automatic design speeds up processes while enhancing product integrity and logistics efficiency.
- • Carton Erecting and Closing – Systems that automatically open cardboard boxes, allow products to be placed inside, and then close them quickly and securely (available in taped and hot-melt glue types).
- • Case Packing – Automatic placement of single or multiple products into cardboard cases in a specific arrangement (e.g., biscuits, cans, bottles, pharmaceuticals).
- • Crate and Tote Filling – Automatic solutions that ensure products are placed quickly, neatly, and without damage into logistic carrying containers.
Pallet Packaging
Pallet packaging systems ensure that products are stabilized on the pallet in a balanced, secure, and transport-ready manner. Using methods such as stretch wrapping, stretch hooding, or strapping, product integrity is maintained during shipment.
- Stretch Wrapping – Stretch wrapping systems wrap palletized products with a flexible film to prevent them from shifting and protect them from external factors during transportation and storage. They are available in turntable, rotary arm, and ring-type models.
- Stretch Hood – Provides full coverage by pulling a flexible and durable film over the products on the pallet from top to bottom, protecting them against dust, moisture, and external factors.
- Strapping – By tightly securing palletized loads with plastic or steel straps, strapping ensures product stability and safety during transportation and storage. Both horizontal and vertical strapping options are available.
