When end-of-line equipment fails, it is not only its own cycle that stops; the production line ahead of it stops too. Maintenance is therefore less about individual parts and more about when and how the stop is planned: a scheduled maintenance window is a fraction of an unplanned one.
Preventive maintenance inspects the wear-exposed points of the system at regular intervals, with grippers, conveyors, pallet feeding and safety components on the checklist. Interval and scope follow how hard the line runs and are defined in writing in the agreement.
