Chemical & Detergent Packaging Line
A typical line where heavy packaging such as pails, jugs and drums is palletized with precise placement.

This page describes a typical system architecture, not a record of a delivered project. Equipment selection and throughput are defined per project.
How the product moves through the line
Each node is a station on the line; the note underneath states the method used there. The order is the product's physical journey; equipment selection and throughput vary per project.
- 01 Product Infeed Pails, jugs and drums
- 02 Palletizing 6-axis robot, vacuum & clamp gripper
- 03 Slip Sheet Automatic slip sheet dispensing
- 04 Pallet Covering Stretch hood

In chemical and detergent production the packaging itself defines the problem: pails and jugs suit top gripping but are full and prone to tipping; drums are heavy and demand precise placement. Gripper selection therefore comes before system selection here.
In this example configuration a six-axis industrial robot sets the container down with a gripper that combines vacuum and clamp, decelerating into position. The pallet is closed with a stretch hood in case of outdoor or exposed storage.
- Pail and jug palletizing
- Drum palletizing
- Filling outfeeds where dust control matters
